Sādhana keeps your practice private. It is a local-first, offline app with no accounts and no servers of its own. Everything you enter — your intentions, your practice history and your reflections — is stored only on your device. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share your personal data.

Who this applies to

This policy covers the Sādhana mobile app for iOS (the “app”). It explains what the app stores, what it does not do, and how to contact us.

What the app stores — on your device only

Sādhana works entirely on your device using local storage (an on-device database). This information never leaves your phone unless you choose to share it:

Your setup answers — e.g. your experience level, intentions, preferred time and length of practice, and any areas you asked to practise around (such as knees, lower back or wrists). These shape your practice; they are stored locally and are not health records we can see.
Your practice history — which practices you’ve done and simple “how did that feel?” feedback, used on-device to gently adapt tomorrow’s practice.
Your reflections — any private notes you write. They stay on your device.
App settings — your preferences and progress in the sanctuary.

What we do not do

No account There is no sign-up or login.
No servers The app has no backend of its own; your data is not uploaded to us or anyone else.
No tracking No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking SDKs.
No selling data We never sell or rent your information.
Works offline Sādhana runs fully offline; an internet connection is not required to practise.

Notifications

If you allow it, Sādhana may send gentle local reminders to practise. These are scheduled on your device — no push server is involved and no data is sent to us. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings.

Health & wellbeing

Sādhana supports general wellbeing. It is not medical care and does not diagnose or treat any condition. The comfort/limitation preferences you enter are used only on your device to guide practice selection and are not shared. Please practise within your comfort and seek qualified in-person guidance when you need it.

Children’s privacy

Sādhana is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Your data & deletion

Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in control. You can remove everything at any time by deleting the app, or by using the app’s reset option where available. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes its local data from your device.

Platform & third parties

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect certain information as part of operating the App Store and your device, subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy. Sādhana itself does not integrate advertising or analytics services.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and post the new version at this address. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
